Grab the bikes, strollers, or just your walking shoes and check out one of these places to hike and bring along the family, right here in Cass County.

  • Monday Mile Trail- 904 Parkridge St, Harrisonville, MO 64701. This path does not loop. The path is fairly even terrain and flat and would be pretty easy for a stroller.
  • Harrisonville City Park Nature Trail - 706 Ash Street, Harrisonville, Mo., 64701. About 2.5 mile loop through the city part. There are 2 lakes and lots of wooded area to hike around. A foot bridge will take you between the 2 lakes and into the woods. Several little paths break off throughout the main trail.
  • Rock Island Spur Pleasant Hill Katy Trail Trailhead - Cass County Fairgrounds at the intersection of highway 58 and Walnut Street, Pleasant Hill, Mo. pea gravel wide trail great for families. 2 quarter mile loops that go though a natural setting behind Cass County Regional Medical Center. The path is paved for easy riding and pushing strollers or wheelchairs.
  • Cleveland Lake Belton - 502 S. Cleveland Ave, Belton, Mo., 64012. A well maintained 1.2 mile trail around the lake is an easy walk and stroller friendly terrain.
  • Mopac Trail Rock Island Spur - 308 W. Commercial Street, Pleasant Hill, Mo. The trail starts at downtown Pleasant Hill by the grain elevator. To the end and back is about 2.5 miles. A gravel trail would make for a bumpy stroller ride but still manageable.
